In future should changes occur we will keep you updated and informed. Until such time as this is needed, this Privacy Policy will govern all collection, use and storage of personal information.

Requests to amend your personal data will be obeyed within 36 hours from initial request. Requests for a copy of your personal data will be provided within 36 hours in a suitable format. Requests to remove your personal data from our database will be complied with within 24 hours from initial request and will be conducted to GDPR specifications on effective removal of data.

The information that is related to these third party services is only used to functional, legitimate business purposes in order to fulfil contract performance when you purchase items, products or services from The Wooden Toy Co.

In the event that The Wooden Toy Co is bought, acquired or merges with another company in the event of a company sale, bankruptcy or otherwise, the company acquiring The Wooden Toy Co will also acquire our assets and they would receive all information collected from our website. If this should occur you will receive adequate notice via email, postal service, telephone communications and prominent notices that will be visible on all of our website pages. At the present time The Wooden Toy Co operates within Australia and New Zealand. We do not have an office or branch in New Zealand however and all of the business operations for events in New Zealand are controlled within Australia and the same guidelines around service providers (see above) applies.

 The Wooden Toy Co does not operate with any international affiliate companies with who it would be necessary or appropriate to share personal information with.

 If in the future, The Wooden Toy Co does branch out and open international offices we will contact you with appropriate notice via email, postal service or telephone communications and inform you of what implications that could mean for you personal information.

 

  1. Data Retention and Deletion

Retention

We retain personal information where we have a legitimate business reason to require the information. The length of time that is required to retain this information can be dictated by the purpose that was founded as the reason for having the personal information.

 Where the personal information relates to a customer who has engaged The Wooden Toy Co and paid for products and services, we will retain your personal information for an adequate amount of time so as to satisfy any local financial auditing requirements for both parties. Once this has been satisfied and there is no longer a legitimate business reason to possess the data we will either delete your data or if this is not reasonable we will securely store your data and ensure that we segregate the data so there is no further use of the data until such time that it can be properly deleted or anonymised.

 If you have elected to receive marketing information from us, such as through form submission or expressed desire to receive marketing information, we will retain your personal data until such time that you inform us, either through expressed removal request or unsubscribing from our email services, at which time we will delete or segregate your data so that it is stored securely until such time that it will be deleted. Other ways that we may choose to delete or segregate your personal information will be dictated by the level of engagement with The Wooden Toy Co marketing information. With extremely low engagement results we will automatically delete or segregate your personal information until such time as it can be securely deleted.

Deletion

Any requests for deletion of your personal information will be complied with within 48 hours from the initial request. All deletion of personal information will be compliant with the guidelines provided by GDPR.

This request will be complied with within 48hours of the initial request being made.

 You can request restriction of the processing of your data and request that we provide you a copy of any processing of personal information that had already occurred.

 In order to collect and process your personal information we must have your consent as to the personal information that you have provided. You have the right to withdraw the consent at any time through multiple channels. There are unsubscribe and “opt-out” options in our email communications, however you are able to contact us via any communication means, i.e. email, telephone or postal service and request that we cease processing your personal information as per your withdrawal of consent. Note that this doesn’t negate any legal processing of your personal information that occurred prior to the withdrawal of your consent.

 You have the right to complain about our collection and use of your personal information to a data protection authority.
